This test attempts to place which side of the Mason-Dixon line you hail from based on your dialect. I am apparently confused as to my origins, since this test informs me that I am %53 dixie, whereas I've always thought of my dialect as being thoroughly Bostonian. In fact, my accent so confuses and confounds anyone from the Southern part of the country that they inevitably ask me something along the lines of "So, how do like it here in the 'ole USA?" I then have to awkwardly explain it to them that I from the USA.
The test is based on information from this survey of regional dialects in the US. Its fun web site to poke around in, though I do take issue with some of the results.

Update:
To all you people reachng this sight through google looking for the quiz, sorry, no quiz here. Just a link which apparently no longer works.
Besides, the test is faulty. I mean, it said I was a southerner. If you could hear my Boston accent, you would know how flawed it is.
