So you’ve clicked o the “About me” link. Not much to tell really. I’m a lifelong Bostonian, born here in ’68, presently living in Jamaica Plain.

Photography is an obvious interest of mine. Didn’t start until my late twenties, when I was given my fathers old camera. I soon became hooked, and now often enjoy walking the city with my camera. Mostly, on this site, you’ll find photos of buildings, of scenes and cityscapes, many in and around Boston, some from my occasional travels out beyond the confines of 128.

Most of the photos on this site are digital, taken with a Nikon coolpix 950. While the pictures are not as good as with my film camera, it has allowed me to experiment quite a bit more, without having to worry about the cost so much. It’s a camera that has served me well these past couple of years, though I’d love to get a digital SLR one of these days. I still enjoy my old fully manual SLR, though my old scanner does not do the pictures justice, so they rarely make it to these pages.

Besides photography, I have a love of movies, books and music. My tastes are a bit on the eclectic side and hard to pin down. But I’ve included a few favorites over to the left. I also love to travel when I can.

When not wandering the streets with my camera, I can often be found enjoying a cup of tea and a good book. Or hanging around in JP in one of the places in the list to the left.
